Soccer Recap: Powell Takes a Loss

Powell and Lyman pushed the score to 7-3 the last time they played Lyman, but on Saturday defenses reigned supreme. The Panthers fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 1-0. Powell were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Lyman earlier this season, when they won 7-3.

With the defeat, Powell broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-5. As for Lyman, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Powell is set to take on their familiar foe Cody at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lyman will challenge rival Lander Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
