Softball Preview: Roosevelt Bears vs. Allen Park Jaguars

Roosevelt is 0-10 against Allen Park since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Roosevelt Bears will head out on the road to take on the Allen Park Jaguars at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Last Monday, Roosevelt got the win against Edsel Ford by a conclusive 10-4.

Ellie Isenegger was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. Isenegger has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. Isenegger was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, Natalee Lesko was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4. Emma Jordan was another key contributor, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.
