Baseball Game Preview: West Chicago Wildcats vs. Elmwood Park Tigers

For the second straight game, West Chicago will face off against Elmwood Park. The Wildcats will host the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Chicago is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when West Chicago took on Elmwood Park on Monday. The Wildcats fell 8-5 to the Tigers.

Sam Zalak was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one stolen base. Manny Figueroa was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Elmwood Park is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for West Chicago, their loss dropped their record down to 5-17.
