Basketball Recap: Hitchcock Comes Up Short

Hitchcock has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Paradise Panthers. The match marked the first time this year in which the Bulldogs were not able to get on the board.

Hitchcock's loss dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Paradise, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 15-7.

Hitchcock will face off against Kountze at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Kountze is on a four-game streak of home wins, Hitchcock a 14-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Paradise, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Paradise Panthers face off against the Callisburg Wildcats at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
