Basketball Game Preview: Au Gres-Sims Wolverines vs. Fairview Eagles

Au Gres-Sims and Fairview are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Au Gres-Sims Wolverines will venture away from home to challenge the Fairview Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Au Gres-Sims will bounce into Monday's matchup after beating Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Au Gres-Sims came out on top against Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy by a score of 37-27 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Fairview hadn't done well against Posen recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Fairview walked away with a 41-32 win over Posen. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Fairview has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season. As for Au Gres-Sims, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Au Gres-Sims strolled past Fairview in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 47-33. The rematch might be a little tougher for Au Gres-Sims since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
