Basketball Game Preview: Radnor Raptors vs. Penncrest Lions

Radnor and Penncrest are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The Radnor Raptors will be playing at home against the Penncrest Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Radnor is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They secured a 58-52 W over Great Valley on Saturday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Raptors 's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 369th, while the Patriots are ranked 152nd).

Meanwhile, Penncrest put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against John Bartram as Penncrest made off with a 54-33 win. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 20 points or more this season.

Penncrest's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Radnor, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.

Radnor came out on top in a nail-biter against Penncrest when the teams last played back in February, sneaking past 34-32. Will Radnor repeat their success, or does Penncrest have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
