Recap: Calusa Prep Colts vs. Miami Christian Victors

The Calusa Prep Colts scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They came out on top against Miami Christian by a score of 85-74. The win was familiar territory for Calusa Prep who now have three in a row.

Several Victors players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chris Bravo, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sebastian Gonzalez, who scored 18 points.

Calusa Prep's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-10. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.0 points per game. As for Miami Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7.

Calusa Prep will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Horeb Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Miami Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Florida Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Florida Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Miami Christian in Florida (Florida Christian is ranked 98th, while Miami Christian is ranked 274th).
