Soccer Game Preview: Tallmadge vs. Midview

The Tallmadge Blue Devils will venture away from home to challenge the Midview Middies at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Midview took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Tallmadge, who comes in off a win.

Tallmadge played in-conference for the first time on Wednesday and got just the result they were looking for. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Cuyahoga Falls.

Meanwhile, Midview managed to keep up with Olmsted Falls until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Middies came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Midview can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 312th, while Olmsted Falls are ranked 52nd).

Tallmadge's win ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 2-8-4. As for Midview, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9-2.
