Soccer Recap: New Mission Comes Up Short

If New Mission was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Snowden International on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Titans fell 2-0 to the O'Bryant Tigers on Thursday. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but New Mission couldn't quite close it out.

New Mission's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3-2. As for O'Bryant, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. New Mission will challenge rival Madison Park RVT/McKinley RVT at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, O'Bryant is set to square off against their familiar foe Charlestown at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
