Basketball Recap: Lisbon Comes Up Short

Lisbon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Mount Abram Roadrunners and fell 67-40. While losing is never fun, the Greyhounds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 128th, while the Roadrunners are ranked 19th).

Lisbon's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Mount Abram, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-1.

Lisbon and Madison will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mount Abram, they will venture away from home to challenge Spruce Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
