Volleyball Game Preview: Monte Vista Christian Mustangs vs. Pacific Grove Breakers + How To Watch

The Monte Vista Christian Mustangs are taking a road trip to take on the Pacific Grove Breakers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Monte Vista Christian proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against King City, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Monte Vista Christian has posted since September 13th.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Monte Vista Christian who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 14-25, 25-22, 19-25, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Pacific Grove waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Knights 3-0.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 7-16. As for Pacific Grove, their win bumped their record up to 19-5.

Monte Vista Christian might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Pacific Grove in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
