 It was a good run, but  Goodpasture Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their  four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell  11-8 to the Friendship Christian Commanders. Goodpasture Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Friendship Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  on April 4th.
  Laura Beth Blessing and  Mattie Gaza stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Blessing  scored three  runs while going 5-for-6, while  Gaza  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, a  triple,  and a  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Reagan Pennington, who  went 2-for-5 with a  stolen base and two  RBI.
 Goodpasture Christian's loss  ended  an  eight-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 14-5. As for Friendship Christian, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 14-7 record  this season.
 Goodpasture Christian will be playing at home against Donelson Christian Academy at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Friendship Christian, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Nashville Christian at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The pair have allowed few  runs on average, (Friendship Christian: 3.9, Nashville Christian: 3.1) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
