Madison Hobbs leads Eno River to victory over Oxford Prep

The Eno River Bobcats's found some homefield redemption this week after a tough overtime loss to the Clover Garden School Grizzlies on Friday. Eno River walked away with a 49-39 win over Oxford Prep. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Eno River also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Madison Hobbs continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 20 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Ava Hill was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six steals and five assists.

Eno River is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for Oxford Prep, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eno River will take on Vance Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Vance Charter will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Eno River surely won't give up without a fight. As for Oxford Prep, they will be playing at home against Henderson Collegiate at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Henderson Collegiate comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 13 points in their last nine games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
