Silas Midgyett Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Chillicothe's Silas Midgyett, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Midgyett rushed for 260 yards and two touchdowns. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (114.6). That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2023.
The victory got Chillicothe back to even at 4-4. Midgyett and Chillicothe will take on Benton on Friday.

The win (which was St. Pius X's seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Cruse and St. Pius X will head out to square off against Savannah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Another Game with at Least Six Total Tackles from Gage Bowland
Gage Bowland produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Savannah to the win on Friday. Bowland wasn't messing around, picking up a sack, forcing a fumble, and making 14 total tackles (4.0 for loss). The matchup was his eighth straight with six or more total tackles dating back to last season.
The victory was the fifth in a row for Savannah, bringing their record for this year to 6-2. Bowland and Savannah will challenge St. Pius X at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Savannah Gets a Boost from Knechtenhofer in 42-14 Win
Keeping Bowland company is Aiden Knechtenhofer, a fellow Savannah player. He threw for 142 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 35 yards and a touchdown.
On the year, Knechtenhofer has thrown 5 touchdowns while averaging 54.3 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had four rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 11.

Larry Cascone's big game helped extend St. Pius X's winning streak to seven on Friday. Cascone did his part (and then some), rushing for 107 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries for the 'W'. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 107 rushing yards.
This year, Cascone has run in 13 touchdowns while averaging 99.1 rushing yards per game.
