Basketball Recap: Liberty Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Liberty Christian Academy played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 56-26 defeat at the hands of the Bowling Green Bobcats. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Despite the loss, Liberty Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Lauren Moss, who posted 20 points in addition to six steals and five boards. That was a full 76.9% of Liberty Christian Academy's points, marking the third time in a row she's scored more than a third of the team's points.

Bowling Green can attribute much of their success to Olivia Dawson, who had 23 points. Karli Dean was another key player, putting up ten points.

Liberty Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Bowling Green, their record now sits at 4-6.

Liberty Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 46-31 loss against Lighthouse Prep Academy on the 16th. As for Bowling Green, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 43-40 defeat against Mark Twain on the 16th.
