Baseball Recap: Edmonds-Woodway Comes Up Short

Edmonds-Woodway was the 10-2 winner over Archbishop Murphy when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell 8-3 to the Wildcats on Wednesday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Edmonds-Woodway saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Toshi Gilginas, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Edmonds-Woodway's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Archbishop Murphy, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Edmonds-Woodway beat Archbishop Murphy by a score of 7-2 on Thursday.
