Basketball Recap: Valley Union Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lourdes Catholic on Tuesday, Valley Union came back down to earth. The Blue Devils were outmatched by the Duncan Wildkats and fell 40-9. The contest marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Kylee Gilbreth was Valley Union's leading scorer, having posted four points. Yahirtza Ibarra held things down on the boards with four rebounds.

Valley Union moved to 8-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Duncan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-6.
