Softball Game Preview: Rockwall-Heath Hawks vs. Wylie Pirates

For the second straight game, Rockwall-Heath will face off against Wylie. The Hawks will challenge the Pirates at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Rockwall-Heath has given up an average of 7.5 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Rockwall-Heath heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Thursday. They lost 12-0 to Wylie. Surprisingly, this marked the Hawks' third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Wylie pushed their record up to 20-10 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Rockwall-Heath, their loss dropped their record down to 13-17.
