It was a good run, but Kansas School for the Deaf unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 9th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-21, 22-25, 25-23.

Sophia D'Angelo paced Kansas School for the Deaf's offense, picking up eight kills. D'Angelo really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 17. Alayna Mohr and Maria Lawrence kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Kansas School for the Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Kansas School for the Deaf will be playing in front of their home fans against Cornerstone Family at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
