Basketball Recap: Lakeside's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Lakeside can finally bid farewell to their 20-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Friday. They skirted past the Geneva Eagles 39-36. The Dragons' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Lakeside's win ended a 15-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-4. As for Geneva, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-4.
