Softball Recap: Mountain Lakes Comes Up Short

Mountain Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Parsippany Redhawks. That's two games in a row now that the Lakers have lost by exactly three runs.

Mountain Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountain Lakes will head out to square off against Parsippany Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Parsippany, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Academy of St. Elizabeth at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
