Volleyball Recap: Madeira Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against National Cathedral, Madeira was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory. For the Snails, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Madeira was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-19, 25-18.

Madeira's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Model Secondary School for the Deaf, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Madeira will square off against Connelly School of the Holy Child at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Model Secondary School for the Deaf, they will venture away from home to challenge Maryland School for the Deaf at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
