It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Scholars Guild Academy had no problem doing just that on Monday. They put the hurt on the Covington Academy Bulldogs with a sharp 11-2 win. The Spartans' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Noelle Boeckman was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Sidney Minor was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one double.

Scholars Guild Academy's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-0. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team's won by an average of 9 runs thus far. As for Covington Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.

As of now, neither Scholars Guild Academy nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
