Softball Recap: Turner Takes a Loss

Turner fell victim to Wakeland and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 12-0 to the Wolverines. The Lions have struggled against the Wolverines recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Turner's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Wakeland, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Turner Lions face off against The Colony Cougars at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Wakeland, they will take on Reedy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Reedy will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Wakeland surely won't give up without a fight.
