Soccer Recap: Air Academy Snags Third Victory in Last Four Games

Air Academy's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Pueblo South Colts a 10-0 shutout. It was an even better day for Cayenne Wynia as she scored three goals for her team.

Air Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four matchups. As for Pueblo South, they dropped their record down to 0-7-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Air Academy will host Palmer Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Palmer Ridge's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Air Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Pueblo South, they are taking a road trip to challenge Mesa Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pueblo South's defense better be ready for this one: Mesa Ridge have averaged an impressive 3.6 goals per game this season.
