Basketball Recap: Charleston Collegiate Comes Up Short

Charleston Collegiate and Laurens Academy squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Charleston Collegiate had to settle for second. They took a 49-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Laurens Academy Crusaders.

Charleston Collegiate's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Laurens Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 18 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Charleston Collegiate nor Laurens Academy have any future games scheduled.
