The Berwyn/Cicero Morton Mustangs will host the Oak Park-River Forest Huskies at 6:30 p.m. Berwyn/Cicero Morton will be strutting in after a victory while Oak Park-River Forest will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Berwyn/Cicero Morton turned things around against Leyden on Tuesday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 35-34 win over the Eagles. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Mustangs' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 507th, while the Eagles are ranked 228th).

Meanwhile, Oak Park-River Forest played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 65-15 loss at the hands of Downers Grove North. The Huskies were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-11.

Berwyn/Cicero Morton's win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-14. As for Oak Park-River Forest, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-18.

Things could have been worse for Berwyn/Cicero Morton, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 58-42 loss to Oak Park-River Forest in their previous matchup back in February of 2022.
