Volleyball Recap: St. Augustine Knights vs. St. Joseph Flyers

After flying high against Saint Mary's Hall last Tuesday, St. Augustine came back down to earth. The St. Augustine Knights came up short against the St. Joseph Flyers on Thursday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-20, 25-18.

St. Joseph got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Abigail Brister out in front who had 12 digs. Another player making a difference was Syler Sullivan, who had five digs and five aces.

St. Augustine has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. As for St. Joseph, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 32-11.
