Softball Game Preview: Monticello Buckaroo vs. Wayne Badgers

The Monticello Buckaroo will face off against the Wayne Badgers at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Monticello has given up an average of 16 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Monticello came up short against Monument Valley on Wednesday, falling 19-2. The Buckaroo have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Monticello saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hannah Barry, who went 1-for-2 with one triple. That triple was Barry's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Wayne can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They blew past Panguitch 17-3. The result was nothing new for the Badgers, who have now won six matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Monticello's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Wayne, their victory bumped their record up to 6-11.
