Soccer Recap: Palisade Takes a Loss

Palisade came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Fruita Monument Wildcats. The match was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Palisade it sure didn't stay that way.

Palisade's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Fruita Monument, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

Palisade wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-1 defeat against Battle Mountain on the 27th. As for Fruita Monument, they have also already played their next game, a 10-0 win against Grand Junction Central on the 27th.
