Softball Recap: Joppatowne Takes a Loss

Joppatowne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 21-0 to the Francis Scott Key Eagles.

Joppatowne's loss dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Francis Scott Key, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-15.

Coming up, Joppatowne will square off against Havre de Grace at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Mariners' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. Francis Scott Key does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
