Basketball Recap: Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Takes a Loss

Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 55-34 to the Springfield Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Thunderbirds have suffered against the Tigers since December 13, 2019.

Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Springfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.
