Kinder waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the South Beauregard Knights by a score of 6-3. This was a revenge game for the Yellowjackets: when they faced off against the Knights back in February, they had to take a 8-2 loss.

Kinder's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for South Beauregard, they moved to 11-8 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Kinder and South Beauregard should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings. Kinder (ranked 87th) will meet Avoyelles (ranked 206th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, South Beauregard will challenge Negreet at 5:00 p.m. on Monday up 256 places (46 vs. 302).
