Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mescalero Apache). They enjoyed a cozy 67-49 win over the Lordsburg Mavericks on Saturday. This was a revenge game for the Chiefs: when they faced off against the Mavericks two weeks ago, they had to take a 64-46 loss.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Mescalero Apache, bringing their record for this year to 15-9. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points over those games. As for Lordsburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.

Coincidentally, Mescalero Apache and Lordsburg will both be playing Mesilla Valley Christian School the next time they take the court. Mescalero Apache will head out to face Mesilla Valley Christian School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Lordsburg will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
