Volleyball Recap: Barr-Reeve Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Lora Graber and Hallie Knepp

Barr-Reeve lost against Castle back in October of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights.

While Barr-Reeve ultimately came up short, they really made Castle work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-27, 27-25, 25-21.

Barr-Reeve's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Hallie Knepp, who had eight digs and three aces, and Lora Graber, who had 22 digs and two assists. Knepp is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last 17 games she's played dating back to last season.

Karsyn Wilhelmus produced another solid performance getting 28 digs and two assists for Castle.

Barr-Reeve's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Castle, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Barr-Reeve has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Shoals on the 21st. As for Castle, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Evansville Harrison on the 21st.
