Basketball Game Preview: Bedford Buccaneers vs. Fenway Panthers

The Bedford Buccaneers just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Fenway Panthers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for Bedford and three for Fenway.

Bedford came up short against Boston Latin on Friday, falling 59-38. While losing is never fun, the Buccaneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 249th, while the Wolfpack are ranked 30th).

Meanwhile, Fenway was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 51-45 to New Mission.

Bedford's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Fenway, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.
