Trinity Christian School of Griffin's defeat came about despite a quality game from Leah McLaurin, who scored nine points along with seven assists and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Thompson, who scored 11 points.

Even though they lost, Trinity Christian School of Griffin were working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Central Christian posted their biggest win yet this season on Saturday. They blew past Harvester Christian Academy 49-17 on the road. The win was just what Central Christian needed coming off of a 70-35 loss in their prior match.

Central Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Riley Clark, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. That's the first time this season that Clark pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sarah Passow, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Trinity Christian School of Griffin's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-9. As for Central Christian, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Trinity Christian School of Griffin have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 27.2 rebounds per game.
