Volleyball Recap: St. Anne-Pacelli Has No Trouble Against Calvary Christian

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Brookstone, St. Anne-Pacelli was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Calvary Christian Knights 3-0. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

While St. Anne-Pacelli won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-18, 25-22.

St. Anne-Pacelli found their leader in sophomore Allie Vickery, who had 11 digs and three assists. Vickery has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played.

St. Anne-Pacelli's win bumped their record up to 25-3. As for Calvary Christian, their defeat ended a 13-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 18-3.

Looking ahead, St. Anne-Pacelli will take on Blessed Trinity at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Calvary Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Sherwood Christian Academy on the 20th.
