Football Game Recap: Memphis East vs. Melrose

Melrose fell to Memphis East 26-27 the last time the two teams met; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Melrose steamrollered Memphis East 40-0. The success made it back-to-back wins for Melrose.

The win got Melrose back to even at 2-2. Memphis East are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.

Melrose will look to defend their home turf next week against Sheffield at 7:00 PM. Memphis East will have some time to rest before their next game, which is against Christian Brothers in two weeks at 7:00 PM. Memphis East come in off of 4 low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
