Volleyball Game Preview: Southwestern Trojans vs. Portville Panthers

Southwestern hasn't had much luck against Portville recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Trojans will head out on the road to challenge the Panthers at 6:30 p.m.

Southwestern lost 3-0 to Falconer on Wednesday.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-14, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Portville got the win against Fredonia on Monday by a conclusive 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-13, 25-15.

Portville is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season. As for Southwestern, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Southwestern might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Portville in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
