Softball Recap: Laurence Manning Academy Picks Up 13th Straight Win at Home

Laurence Manning Academy has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.44 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Orangeburg Prep Indians as they made off with a 22-16 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Swampcats sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Laurence Manning Academy's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Orangeburg Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.
