Ignacio has gone 8-1 against Center recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Bobcats will challenge the Vikings at 11:00 a.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Ignacio has six straight victories, Center has 11 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Ignacio barely beat Nucla the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bobcats put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 14-2 win on Tuesday. Considering the Bobcats have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Ignacio got a big performance out of William M, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave M a new career-high. Stoney W was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs and one double.

Ignacio always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Nucla only posted an OBP of .286.

Center couldn't beat Dolores on Friday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Vikings lost 24-7 to the Bears. That's two games in a row now that the Vikings have lost by exactly 17 runs.

Ignacio pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.2 runs over those games. As for Center, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.

Everything went Ignacio's way against Center when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Ignacio made off with a 21-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
