Austin Atkins was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 1-for-4. He has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last nine times he's played. Jacob Mioduszewski also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

Roanoke Valley Christian dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Regents, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roanoke Valley Christian will welcome Timberlake Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Regents, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Grace Christian at 4:00 p.m. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
