Baseball Recap: Grace Davis Takes a Loss

Grace Davis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-9 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ceres Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-0 on Thursday.

Grace Davis' defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Ceres, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grace Davis will challenge Pacheco at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Ceres, they will head out to challenge Beyer at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
