Baseball Game Preview: Northwest Cabarrus Trojans vs. Robinson Bulldogs

The Northwest Cabarrus Trojans will square off against the Robinson Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Northwest Cabarrus lost 21-2 to West Rowan on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Trojans have suffered against the Falcons since March 15, 2022.

Meanwhile, Robinson came up short against Concord on Tuesday, falling 12-3.

Jake Barbee made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one triple and one run. Paxton Carter was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.

Robinson's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Northwest Cabarrus, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-15.
