Volleyball Recap: Northwood Academy Extends Winning Streak to Three

Northwood Academy had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They blew past the Pinewood Prep Panthers 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Chargers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Northwood Academy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14, 25-20.

Their offense was headlined by Tocco Alyvia and Meyers Kaylea, who picked up 12 kills apiece. They got some help from Boldin Katie and her 36 assists.

Northwood Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Pinewood Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Northwood Academy will head out on the road to face off against Ashley Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pinewood Prep, they will welcome Charleston Collegiate at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
