Basketball Recap: Riverside Academy Comes Up Short

Riverside Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the West St. John Rams, falling 42-20. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Rebels have suffered against the Rams since February 12, 2016.

Riverside Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for West St. John, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-10.

Riverside Academy will venture away from home to square off against St. Charles Catholic at 6:10 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West St. John, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against St. James at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
