Soccer Recap: Georgetown Comes Up Short

In Friday's Canine Competition, Georgetown had to take the L. They fell just short of the Timberland Wolves by a score of 3-2 on Friday. Georgetown were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Timberland earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Georgetown's defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Timberland, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Georgetown will welcome Manning at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Georgetown are facing Manning at the right time seeing as Manning are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Timberland, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Woodland at 5:30 p.m. on the 24th.
