Baseball Recap: Marietta Comes Up Short

Marietta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 14-2 to the Marlow Outlaws. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 18-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2025.

Marietta's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Marlow, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

While Marietta had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
