Softball Recap: Elkhart Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Elkhart Christian Academy came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Washington Township Senators, falling 23-6.

Kiara Trovatore made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Elkhart Christian Academy's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-12. As for Washington Township, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.

Elkhart Christian Academy has already played their next contest, an 11-10 win against Triton on the 26th. As for Washington Township, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 5-1 defeat against Westville on the 29th.
